Shocked!

Wow! Here where I live, we have a "newspaper" type thing that is distributed throughout the city at different businesses that displays people as "Justbusted." I suppose the reasoning behind this, is to let everyone know who has been arrested and the crime behind the arrest.... Usually I buy them for shits and giggles, and just MAYBE I'll see someone I know or recognize... There have definitely been times that I have recognized someone, whether it is a customer, or someone I graduated with or know through someone else.... BUT this week while at Walgreens I decided to pick up an issue, and long and behold I see 2 ppl I recognize ( 1 a girl from Hs who looks terrible, who is now on drugs, and the other, which is a guy whom I've actually hung out with and have had hours of conversion with..) Under his mug shot picture, the crime stated sexually battery and rape of a child! I was completely caught off guard and beyond shocked! This man has two children of his own and has his own business! If convicted he has completely ruined his own life, but possibly his kids childhoods.. He will never be able to pick his kids up from school, continue to teach soccer, be in a close proximity of any underage child and forever will have to register as a sex offender.... On another hand, while I definitely don't defend his actions I wonder if whomever his victim is had a "fake id" or just didn't look her age... Either way I feel for his children and family:(..This one incident may have just cost him his life and "freedom" Do you all know anyone, who has been caught up in the law?

Im BACK! Weekend Recap:)

Oh man, where do I start! The past two weeks have been EXTREMELY busy for me with school..

Friday Night:
We all went to dinner to jump start my three day weekend! Gotta love bankers holidays:). This was my entree, and OMG it was fab!

Now! I must say I LOVE food, and this meal almost gave me a foodasm. The meat literally falls off the bone.... I'm sure you all already know, but if you don't I'm from Memphis - "HOME OF BBQ," and boy oh boy if any of yall ever decide to make a pit stop in the M, you must go to "Beale Street," and stop in @ a little place called "Blue City Cafe"... I PROMISE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED! :)

HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY TO MY OLDER BRO, LOVE YOU!

This movie was Awesome! Not only was Reese Witherspoons character cute in this movie, but those two DEF aren't too bad to look at!:)

Diet Cake (OMG) & Mini wknd recap!

                      Diet Cake!

                Ingredients needed:

1 box cake (what ever you like, I used lemon)

20 ounces (2 1/2 cups of your choice of diet drink) Ex: if you use a chocolate cake then use either diet coke or diet dr pepper...basically use light on light or dark on dark

*** It is optional to use icing or whip cream (cool whip), whatever you prefer, however, if you only use whip cream (cool whip), then I think its roughly 100 or 150 calories... ***

And whaallaa that's the only 2 ingredients needed! Weird huh!?

Sorry for the darkness of the pic, my kitchen light went out, Ahhh so, this is as bright as I could get... Anyway, this is once I mixed the cake batter and diet 7up together

I used a silicone baking dish, and lightly coated with cooking spray

I baked for roughly 35-40 minutes and this is how it came out:)

Let me tell ya, this cake has to be the moistest cake I have ever had! Yummy!!

Okay, first off this place is delish (Kooky Canuck).. I gotta tell you about this burger! First off this place offers either a 4 pound or 6 pound burger, I cant exactly remember the amount of calories for the 4 pound burger, but the 6 pound burger is SERIOUSLY 18,000 calories! OH MY GEEBEESSSS!!! Thats a lot of Fing calories... Secondly, this burger cost $37.99 and if 2 people are able to eat the entire thing in an hour then its FREE! (Good luck)

Week/ Weekend ahead

Ahh, school has really been kicking my butt, who knew that taking History would be like me taking an English class!! All I seriously do is take notes and write essays (as in I have a 5 page paper due) eek.

S/N: besides that everything is A-OKAY:) I need to get back into a routine so I can continue to blog while in school:)

Oh yeah! my moms birthday was this past Wednesday! Happy birthday again Mamacita!

Weekend:

* This weekend Scuba and I are headed to Pickwick, hopefully the weather holds up so I can get my fishin on:)

* Were taking my mom out for dinner tonight, oohh its gonna be fun

* Sunday: do a little organizing ( lets see if my weekend laziness will get the best of me:/ hopefully not! )

Fantastic new FLATIRON!

Oo to the M to the GG! I freakin love this thing!

For some time now I have been contemplating on purchasing a new flat iron, the one I had before was not only chipped on the end from ALL of the abuse I have put it through, but the plates were also starting to give out... Now when it comes to a flatiron I'm pretty picky, I prefer to have one that goes up to at least 450d, and usually I have a hard time finding.. So this weekend I finally ~~convinced~~ decided to purchase a new one, and long and behold I only had to try two stores, YES!! The winning FI came from Jcpenny's Salon, not only do I love the color and the available temps but this baby has a built in MP3 player, OMG!!!

*** So if your in the market for a fantastic new flatiron that not only works fabulous ***

but also has the capability of singing to you, then this baby is for you!

Gulf Shores Recap

Can I say, I cant wait to go back... I love this place especially in the winter time, less people and awesome shopping deals....

Upon arriving to Orange Beach I received a phone call from my bro, who happened to be house sitting/ watching my pup, and he's calling to tell me that Bailey has slipped her head out of her collar and ran off...! OH LAWD, I was secretly freaking the HELL OUT!
1. She knows better to try that with me
2. She chewed her name tag so not only is she roaming around but she is considered nameless!!
3. I'm like 7 hours away so there's nothing I could do

Needless to say to make a LONNG story short, my brother literally had to place pepperoni slices up three flights of stairs in order to get her to come inside, I WANTED TO KILL HER!!! ( this dog ONLY eats dog food). BTW this was roughly an hour after chasing her and at midnight! :/

NOW back to my mini vacation:)

The next morning we woke up and headed to the outlets, and let me tell ya, I'm not to big on shopping, but OMG!!! I was in HEAVEN!

I couldn't tell you how many stores there were but I know there was three entire centers of different stores, but at outlet prices... ( Jcrew, Coach, TJ Maxx, Nike, AE, etc.)

So, my first stop was Michael Khors! Now I'm not one to spend more that ~~fifty~~, $25 on purse, because I figure I'll tear it up anyways, but this one particular purse caught my attention and hey it was 50% off! I was like ugh yes ma'am that's coming home with me...:)

We went to prob half of the stores on Saturday, and after a long day of walking around sight seeing and shopping we were pooped, so we decided to finish the other half the next day.... The next day I mainly bought work / casual shirts to wear with jeans, etc... and on the way back to the condo we decided to stop at a different shopping center where I saw Maurices, and OMGG to the MGGG!! I bought a pair of pants for $2.25!! I told the sales associate ughh huhh theres no way! she was as surprised as I was... needless to say those babies came home with me....

The last day, I've had my eye on the Kindle Fire, so I somehow convinced myself that I needed it for whatever reason and decided to suck it up, hey you only live once:).. I do recommend this to everyone

When we arrived at Lamberts we were seriously the first ones in the parking lot as well as inside, needless to say, the FOOD was absolutely delicious if you like down south home cooking!!

I'm glad I was able to take a mini vacation before school started back, my first class is tomorrow and boy oh boy, I sure don't wanna go :( hopefully these next few months fly by

Jacob Nickolai is HERE!

Look at this little man! He is one of my best friends newest edition to the family! So PRECIOUS, Baby Jacob came into this world yesterday afternoon @ 3:49pm weighing 7lbs 13oz! Aunt Traci loves you!

Now, I myself am definitely not ready for any children, I ENJOY my freedom way toooo much! I love the fact that I can randomly wake up at whatever time I want, go where ever I want, and last but not least travel whenever I want... I def want kids in the future but I have at least until I'm thirty, EEK :)

~~5 years and counting~~, duh duhh duhhh...
